Is there an entry fee?
* Admission is $15.00 cash. There are also usually deal when buying admission tickets in bulk.
What is it?
* Adult theater in Queens near LGA airport. It's a 600 seat 90 year old theater and another connected building. It's large.
* Hollywood movies play on 3 screen and pornography plays on 3 more screens, grindhouse style continuously through the day.
Where is it?
* 90-18 Astoria BLVD Queens, Near LGA.
* Accessible by M-60, Q-19, Q-33, Q-49, Q-49, Q-72 busses via the N Astoria BLVD stop and 7, R, E, F via Jackson Heights/Roosevelt ave.
* There is usually available street parking up 88th st past the McDonalds.
When is it open?
* Open by 11am every day and closes at midnight Sunday thru Thu. Fri and Sat nights open until 3am.
What is the age to enter?
* Reported age to enter is 21. Up to you if you think a Saturday night is a better time to chance getting in than like 3pm on a weekday.
What's the best time to go?
* Saturday has typically been the big day. Saturday is busy afternoon, evening and night.
Do not arrive late, it starts slowing down past 12 midnight Saturday night.
* Weekdays from 12noon to 4pm have also been good.
What goes on here?
* Everything. Oral. Sex. Group-grope, etc.
* Weekday activity is usually concentrated in the Dark Wall Overlook area at the back of the Straight XXX screen room (see map).
* Weekend activity is usually concentrated in the Dark Wall Overlook area, and the Pitch Dark Room.
Who goes there, what's the demographic?
* Downlow types. Off-the-grid gays. Pervs. It skews older, but it's not all old guys. Not everyone is gay.
It's mostly men, and they will be of all adult ages and races.
Is it Trans-friendly?
* Yes. Male-to-females transexuals and crossdressers are common. (accurate as from 3/2025 onward).
Are women allowed?
* Yes, but cis-gendered women are rare. Sometimes there is a M/F couple, but it is uncommon.
When it does happen, it is usually within the straight porn xxx room.
What's the vibe?
* Festive. Some people are there just to socialize. It's not like a bunch of scary lurkers.
So what's the best spot in there?
* See the map below with the red encircled hotspots.
* The pitch-dark room is more active Saturdays than it is weekdays.
Can I walk around naked in there?
* No. Many of there areas are too common/public for that, and not play areas.
* See Hot Spot map below, It's pretty much anything goes within the booths with the door shut,
or up in the balcony of the main screen room, and in the other red encircled areas.
Are there gloryholes?
* No. None needed.
* The are booths but they don't have gloryholes. The booths are for privacy.
How do I get a booth if they're all occupied?
* You can either ask whoever's in the booth to step out for a bit while you do your thing or ask the guy that works there to open up a booth for you if one is locked and they are all occupied.
What is the deal with the lockers?
* Lockers available to store your coat/valuables, located between lobby/lounge and main screen theater.
* $8.00 for the key, but you get $7.00 back when you return the key when you leave that day.
Is there free pizza and donuts?
* Once upon a rime there was free pizza and donuts but no longer,
There is still free coffee and snack/drinks vending machines that accept dollar bills.
Do people go just to watch movies?
* Yes, some do. The theater shows a wide variety of films in many genres from early '50s films, '70s martial arts, Blockbusters from the '90s to exploitation films and the occasional classic.
Do you have advice for someone that's never been to an adult theater?
* If you think you might be more comfortable bringing a friend along with you; do so. A buddy-system could make it all easier for you.
* The building is 90s years old, and not getting any younger. The carpet at the lobby/lounge is probably 50 years old and possibly won't smell the greatest, initially.
* The Pitch Dark Room and Dark Wall Overlook are extreme areas. USE CAUTION, People are going to be handsy in these areas.
* If you find that one guy that won't leave you alone and seems like he's following you, walk to another area. Lose him, he will give up.
* Do not have an expectation of privacy. The only area to be certain of privacy is within a booth.
* It will be very dark in some areas, upon first walking in from daylight. Wearing sunglasses on the way there is not a bad idea.
